  • Brings over 30 years of experience in national and global leadership roles across Lilly, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sanofi, and Amgen.

  • Currently leads overall operations and strategic growth initiatives at DiagnoSearch Life Sciences.

  • Recipient of several excellence awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR).

  • Industry leader with over 30 years of experience in biopharma R&D, clinical research, business operations, and account management, consistently delivering above-target financial, employee, and customer metrics.

  • Recognized with Healthcare Luminary 2017 (Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association, USA) and ISCR Lifetime Achievement Award 2019 for notable contributions to the clinical research fraternity.

  • Past President (2013–2017) and current Executive Committee member of the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR); active contributor to CII, OPPI, and other industry bodies, shaping balanced regulations and policies.

  • Re-established drug development and clinical research in India through stakeholder advocacy, delivering sustainable growth, and positioning India and Asia as global innovation hubs.

Dr. Anirban Roy Chowdhury

  • Clinical research professional with 26 years of experience across pharmaceutical industry, academia, and Government of India, specializing in clinical development plans and trials for new chemical entities, vaccines, biologics, generics, and devices across multiple countries.

  • Extensive experience engaging with regulatory agencies including CDSCO, USFDA, EMA, and ANVISA, and in building and leading clinical research and pharmacovigilance teams globally.

  • Currently building the Development Center of Excellence at Sun Pharma, overseeing Clinical Operations, Global Trial Management, Data Management, Biostatistics, Medical Writing, Clinical Development, Pharmacokinetics & Translational Medicine, and Clinical Quality Management to advance Sun Pharma’s specialty portfolio.

  • General Secretary of the Indian Society for Clinical Research, contributing to the development of the clinical research ecosystem in India.

Dr. Chirag Trivedi

  • Ph.D. in Pharmacology with extensive experience in clinical research, clinical quality assurance, medical excellence, pharmacovigilance, bioavailability & bioequivalence studies, and business development.

  • Joined Sanofi in 2006; previously Director and Head of Clinical Study Unit for India and Southeast Asia, overseeing clinical studies across multiple countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.

  • Served as President of the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR) from April 2017 to March 2021 for two terms, promoting clinical research awareness, quality, and ethics in India.

  • Prior experience includes roles in a CRO and a central laboratory, providing a broad operational and scientific perspective in clinical research management.

  • Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001:2000 & ISO 15189:2012) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) Inspector.

  • Has contributed to SOP development and assay standardization for leading government and university laboratories worldwide.

  • MBBS from G. S. Medical College, Mumbai; MD and DM (Clinical Pharmacology) from PGIMER, Chandigarh; expert in Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Development focusing on Diabetes, Pain, Immuno-oncology, and Biosimilars.

  • Previously worked with Biocon Biologics, Glenmark, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and Pfizer, holding roles of increasing responsibility in clinical development.

  • Published numerous articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals; member of IEC at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (HBCH&RC), Muzaffarpur (Unit of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai).

  • Senior Advisor for Doctors For You, a Pan-India humanitarian organization with international presence, contributing to clinical and social initiatives.

  • Former President and Executive Committee Member of the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR), India’s nodal organization for clinical research stakeholders.

  • Leads global clinical operations in India, with a focus on rare diseases and innovative clinical development programs.

  • Passionate about clinical research education, ethics in clinical trials, and operationalizing best practices in clinical development.

  • Represented Takeda Medical Affairs during Shire integration as Emerging Market Integration Lead; continued as Head of Asia Pacific (Medical Affairs) for the integrated organization.

  • Currently serves as Head of Medical Affairs, Oncology for the Growth & Emerging Markets (GEM) region, overseeing LATAM, Middle East & Africa, Russia & CIS, and Asia Pacific including China.

  • Experienced in virtual monitoring, decentralized trials, innovative site/study solutions, and strategy development for clinical development work in India and cluster countries.

  • Alumnus of Grant Medical College (MBBS) and T.N. Medical College (MD Pathology), Mumbai University; actively collaborates with ISCR, OPPI, ICMR, BIRAC, CDSA, and other government initiatives supporting clinical development.
